Mahindra Bolero Neo another SUV


Mahindra has launched the Bolero Neo in India and this is now its fourth SUV in the sub four-metre range of vehicles. It is a revitalised version of the TUV300 and is now being offered across four variants, seven colour options and with one diesel engine option.,

In front, Mahindra has fitted the SUV with the Bolero’s signature grille to bring it into the iconic SUV’s family range. In profile and at the rear, the Bolero Neo carries over the boxy lines and high slab like silhouette of the TUV300 thus giving it that classic SUV appearance. As a part of the design update, Mahindra has fitted the Bolero Neo with new alloy wheels, spoiler and updated design for the tailgate handle.,

You get a beige and black cabin with three rows of seating where the third row has side facing seats. The top-of-the-line N10 variant gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, reverse parking sensors and rear armrest.

The Bolero Neo is powered by Mahindra’s 1.5-litre BS6 compliant mHawk100 engine that produces 100bhp/260Nm. It is being offered with a five-speed manual transmission. Mahindra has also fitted the Bolero Neo with a locking differential or as they have termed it multi-terrain

technology for improved off-road handling. This feature is only available on the top-spec N10 (O) variant.

The Bolero Neo is a rival for cars like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport & the Honda WR-V.

Mahindra Bolero Neo price starts at ₹ 8.48 Lakh and goes upto ₹ 10.00 Lakh. The price of Diesel version for Bolero Neo ranges between ₹ 8.48 Lakh - ₹ 10.00 Lakh.

Yamaha Motorcycle Launch New 150cc FZ X

Yamaha FZ X is a street bike available at a starting price of Rs. 1,17,516 in India. It is available in 2 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,20,517. The Yamaha FZ X is powered by 149cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 12.2 bhp and a torque of 13.3 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Yamaha FZ X comes up with anti-locking braking system.

India Yamaha Motors has expanded its FZ series with the launch of the new FZ-X in our market. The new FZ-X features a neo-retro design that is inspired by the Yamaha XSR motorcycles. This latest offering from India Yamaha Motors shares its chassis and base components with the FZ FI range. The new Yamaha FZ-X will be available in two variants – standard and with Y-Connect Bluetooth tech. Both variants are available in three colours – Matte Copper, Matte Black, and Metallic Blue.

The styling cues include a round headlight at the front, a tall-set handlebar, an engine cowl, a step-up seat with a tuck and roll pattern for the cover, and a basic grab rail at the back. The motorcycle gets rugged dual-purpose tyres and fork gaiters that enhance the overall styling. Yamaha will offer several optional accessories to further customise the FZ-X. These include a seat cover, tank pad, chrome mirrors, and LED blinkers. The seat height is rated at 810mm while the kerb weight stands at 139kg.

The feature list comprises an LED headlight with LED DRL, an LCD instrument cluster, a USB charger, and a sleek LED taillight at the back. The safety net includes single-channel ABS and a side-stand engine cut-off function.

The Bluetooth-enabled version works with Yamaha Y-Connect smartphone application and the display offers information about calls, SMS and email notifications, and phone battery level. The smartphone application, on the other hand, records details about fuel consumption, maintenance recommendation, last parked location, malfunction notification, rev dashboard, and ranking (for distance travelled and fuel economy).

The new FZ-X shares its 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with the FZ FI range. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor produces 12.2bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.

The hardware comprises 41mm telescopic front forks, a seven-step preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
