Piaggio India has finally launched the much-awaited Vespa LX 125 in India at the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. It will be manufactured at the Piaggio’s plant in Baramati and went on-sale today (26th April, 2012) in 50 cities in India. The company aims to earn revenues of approximately euro 70 million in 2015 when investment payback is projected on sales of approximately 110,000 scooters.

- Some of the parts will be imported from Vietnam
