Bajaj Target Middle People Bajaj CT 110 X

Bajaj has recently introduced the new X variant of its CT 110 commuter offering. It gets a host of changes over the standard trim that are meant to make it more purposeful and durable. In case you’re planning to buy the new CT110X, here are the top five highlights of the bike.

New Styling

Bajaj has bestowed the CT110X with a new styling that has a retro appeal to it, mainly because of the circular headlamp with grille, surrounded by a matte-finished cowl. It also gets a different fuel tank and under seat cowl along with a sleeker seat and a raised front fender.

Safer and comfier

With thicker crash guards, the CT110X should be able to take the brunt of a fall more efficiently than the standard bike. Moreover, it is also claimed to be more comfortable with moulded footholds and a dual texture, dual stitched seat. Bajaj has equipped the X with semi knobby tyres for better grip while a square tube, semi-double cradle frame is said to provide more stability and sturdiness to the ride. What’s more, there’s a carrier at the rear that can carry a maximum load of 7kg.

Engine

Bajaj has kept the engine of the bike untouched. It continues to be the same 115cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that does duty on the standard CT 110. This unit churns out 8.48bhp of power and 9.81Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a four-speed gearbox.

Similar Parts

Similar to the engine, the cycle parts of the CT110X are also the same. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks with 125mm of travel up front and spring-in-spring dual shock absorbers with 100mm of travel at the rear. Braking is handled by a drum brake at both ends assisted by a combined braking system (CBS).

Price

Bajaj has priced the CT110X at Rs 55,494 (ex-showroom, Delhi). That makes it around Rs 1,000 more expensive than the base variant of the CT 110. It is available in four colour options - Blue with black, Red with black, Green with Golden and Red.
