It is mated to a six speed manual gearbox that transmits the torque output to the front wheels. However, in top end version, the output is transmitted to all four wheels. On the other hand, this latest SUV gets a brand new variant to its lineup christened as W10, which is placed above the existing top end variant W8. It is also made available with an option to choose between FWD and AWD drive formats. Now, the overall tally of variants has gone up to six. This top end trim is equipped with an array of equipments including a touchscreen infotainment system along with a DVD player and a high quality surround sound system. It also gets new features like a voice messaging system, door opening notification and seat belt alert. Coming to the interior updates, this latest version gets an improved beige color scheme that renders it an upmarket appeal. However, the design remains identical to its predecessor. In terms of exteriors, this vehicle gets a completely refurbished front facade with new radiator grille, headlights and bumper. Its headlight cluster is now fitted with an 'S' shaped LED DRLs along with projector headlamps.
Unlike its previous model, its grille looks classier, thanks to the glossy black material and chrome accents used for it. The front bumper also gets newly designed fog lamp console along with chrome enclosures. Additionally, this latest version is now available in two new exterior pain options like Pearl White and Sunset Orange that provides more options to the buyers. Coming to the side and rear facets, only its alloy wheels gets a new design and are embedded with company's emblem. For the first time in this segment, this vehicle gets logo projection lamps on its ORVMs that emphasizes its exclusivity. Apart from the aforementioned features, all the other features have been retained from its previous version. The manufacturer has retained its monocoque body construction, which determines the safety of passengers and contributes for undiluted driving pleasure. It has all important safety features like six airbags, ABS with EBD and rollover mitigation function, which are essential for safeguarding the occupants. Additionally, it is blessed with an electronic stability program 9 designed by Bosch, which enhances the braking mechanism. This vehicle is now available with a standard warranty of up to three years or 100000 kilometers (whichever is earlier). It will now take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Tata Safari Storme and Renault Duster in the premium SUV segment.
